Originally meaning leather made with lambskin, nappa is known for its soft hand. Our goal was to create the softest of the soft, so we began developing Nappa Vitello using full grain calfskin with one of our favorite Italian tanners almost twenty years ago. The result is a collection of classically designed clutches, purses, and card cases with the softness of lambskin and the durability of cowhide. A beautiful patina develops over time, but the real beauty of Nappa Vitello is the way it feels between your fingers. There are many versions of soft nappa-type leather on the market, but once you hold a piece from Bosca, you won’t let it go.
